Today I watched an episode of Dr. Phil and he was dealing with a family where their 14 year old daughter is trying to grow up too fast and is acting and dressing inappropriately...and it freaked me out!
My daughters are 11 years old and 14 is only 3 very short years away. How do I keep my precious little angels from turning into what I saw on the TV today???
Jesus - I need your help!

I believe it is through good parents and the right rold models in your girl's lives, and of course their own relationship with God.
I know that I was surrounded by amazing people through my life and I never saw THEM dress like that, so I had no desire to dress like that.
I believe a lot of it relies on YOU as well John! A good, loving, father that engages in the lives of his girls will do MUCH good for them. If they have a father who shows them love, lets them know how beautiful they are, and spends quality time with them, and teaches them where they can find their true beauty they will never try to find their worth through guys.
Of course, girls are girls, so they will have moments of trying to impress guys but I believe with the right parenting and environment, it will never be a huge struggle.
As you can tell, I am very passionate about this subject!! God has given me a heart for teen girls and the struggles they face!
I believe you and Star are doing an incredible job! Keep it up =)
